How to enable the web spell checker feature in CKEditor extension.

Table of Content

This is how to enable the web spell checker feature in CKEditor extension. Open lot\extend\c-k-editor\lot\state\config.php then add spellchecker to the default toolbarGroups data to insert the tool button:

'toolbarGroups' => [
    [
        'name' => 'mecha',
        'groups' => [
            'styles',
            'cleanup',
            'basicstyles',
            'links',
            'insert',
            'blocks',
            'list',
            'mode',
            'undo',
            'spellchecker' // ← this
        ]
    ]
],
'height' => '30em',
…

Now load the plugin by adding scayt to a configuration property called extraPlugins:

'toolbarGroups' => [
    [
        'name' => 'mecha',
        'groups' => [
            'styles',
            'cleanup',
            'basicstyles',
            'links',
            'insert',
            'blocks',
            'list',
            'mode',
            'undo',
            'spellchecker'
        ]
    ]
],
'extraPlugins' => 'scayt', // ← this
'height' => '30em',
…

If the property is already there and already contains some plugins, just add it to the list and then separate with a comma:

'extraPlugins' => 'foo,bar,baz,scayt'

Done.
