How to enable the web spell checker feature in CKEditor extension.

Table of Content

First, download the package here, then put the scayt foder to lot\extend\c-k-editor\lot\worker\ckeditor\plugins.

Open lot\extend\c-k-editor\lot\state\config.php then add Scayt to the default toolbar data to insert the tool button:

'toolbar' => [
    ['Undo', 'Redo'],
    ['Bold', 'Italic', 'Underline', 'RemoveFormat'],
    ['SpecialChar', 'Link', 'Image', 'Table', 'HorizontalRule'],
    ['NumberedList', 'BulletedList', 'Blockquote', 'Indent', 'Outdent'],
    ['Styles'],
    ['Scayt'] // ← this
],
'height' => '30em',
…

Now load the plugin by adding scayt to a configuration property called extraPlugins:

'toolbar' => [ … ],
'extraPlugins' => 'scayt', // ← this
'height' => '30em',
…

If the property is already there and already contains some plugins, just add it to the list and then separate with a comma:

'extraPlugins' => 'foo,bar,baz,scayt'

Done.

    Hi Tovic,

    Thanks for the tips above and today I wrote a german manual about Scayt activation. You can find it at https://mecha.liebrechts-portfolio.de/article/in-mecha-v2-0-0-cms-scayt-aktivieren-wie-geht-das and watch it.

    I really hope that there are more German users of the Mecha Flat File CMS.
